Due to the update with source, we have updated our HLSTATS system and have reset all server ranks. All our servers and plugins are up to date now, and we have announced our summer contests.
We have announced two summer contests for CSS that will take place until August 31st. We will have hardware prizes, steam games, and t-shirts for prizes.
1. Most kills in a single sitting on any server (screenshots must be taken and uploaded to forum thread)
2. Most Gun Game rounds won (Redoing this contest due to last months update deleting our stats)
We would like to welcome the Metal For Life {MFL} clan to our community and congratulate the success of Lettuce Frag our sponsored league team in CEVO this season, as they are only a few brackets away from the finals. For any other teams or clans looking to be apart of OptiX Gaming, please contact me on the forums or email me directly via optixgaming@gmail.com

Server News:
Counter Strike Source: Beta has been released. For those of you lucky enough to have a beta trial, we have launched a Public server for everyone to play in.

Our Eco Rotation Server has changed to a Deathmatch Rotation Server. It features HLSTATS, CSS: DM Mod by Bailopan with nades on, 24 Slots of premium 100Tick 1000FPS game play. Current maps are Dust2, Nuke, Season, Mill, and Inferno. To request a map, please visit the forums and post in the request forum or deathmatch rotation server forum.

Community News:
We are in the process of updating our entire admin system. We will be changing the donation system to a single level of admin to start off with if you decided to donate for admin. Otherwise, you can apply for it on the forums if you are unable to donate. All admins will have their admin in a single server now, except for a select few which we have announced to be apart of our global admin team. Keep this in mind if you do apply for admin on the forums now, since you need to request what server you would like admin for.
Contests!!!
OptiX Gaming will be hosting some Pub contests from now on that will reset every month or two, and the top players will take home prizes that will consist of t-shirts, headsets, keyboards, mice/pads, and more!! The prizes will rotate each contest, and all players (including previous winners) are allowed to sign up again.
To compete in these contests, please sign up on the forums and enter your self in the invidual threads for each contest in the forum section HERE
OptiX Gaming is taking requests for contest ideas all the time, so if you think you have a good one, let us know in the request forum HERE

Due to the slow start, I have pushed the first and second round deadlines to give a few teams some more time. This is the final deadline now. If matches are not played, teams will be removed from the tournament.
Here are the new dates, including the final rounds.
Round 1 - April 23rd
Round 2 - April 25th
Round 3 - April 28th
Round 4 - May 1st
I will be emailing all team leaders and co-leaders shortly to make sure they are aware of the deadlines.
Get those match times reported!!! Good luck to all teams!
